White Collar Criminals

Hey everyone Ben here, one of the directors of White Collar Criminals, our groups submission to the 2009 Project Direct competition on YouTube. Lots of people have been checking out our work so I decided to start this blog to keep people informed. We made our film in less than three days and for less than 200 bucks! We shot it on the RED ONE digital cinema camera and edited it in one day on Final Cut pro using proxies (for those technical people). We didn't have time to color correct and there are several audio errors that appeared in the final render which are not present on the timeline, most noticeably the lack of music volume when our talented actor  Scott fires his gun out of the car window. Also, there is a line of dialogue that went missing from the final reveal on the RED PHONE. Otherwise, considering the time, we are happy to have made this film and are super excited to see how it fares in competition. I would also like this time to thank a few people that were neglected in the credits and deserve thanks. Firstly, Ryan Polotta (sorry if I spelt that wrong), Geo from Giggle-Shorts for allowing us to generously film in his makeup studio and finally Vincent Lau for arming us with his Neo-esque-in-the-all-white-room arsenal. 

P.s. We are being considered to be finalists for the competition, if we are selected make sure to vote on the 27th so that we can win!
